Reports to: Director of Operations
Summary of Position:
We are seeking candidates with various levels in management and supervisory experience. A background and knowledge of the cleaning/ janitorial industry, property management or human resources.
Your responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, financially monitoring locations and contracts while maintaining a budget. Assisting with inventories, equipment and supplies while recognizing opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality of the operation. Monitoring and controlling labour, managing Health & Safety in the workplace. Ensuring and scheduling suitable staff while incorporating standards and mission statements at all times. This also includes employee evaluations, with regular job site visits, inspections and establishing a relationship with owners, managers, superintendents, area supervisors, tenants and employees to immediately resolve any issues or concerns. In addition, the ideal candidate will recognize action opportunities that may arise to improve service quality while bringing potential services issues to the attention of the Director of Operations as required.
This position requires an advanced level of customer service skills, excellent oral and written communication skills. The ideal candidate must possess a professional and friendly image and have an attention to detail. They must be proficient to work with computers and have an up to date driver’s license. Fluent in a secondary language is also an asset. A high school diploma or equivalent and 5-10 years experience in the service industry, with a minimum of five years in the cleaning/ janitorial industry is required.
